Deel is seeking an Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle for renewals, upsell, and cross-sell of their global payroll and HR platform. The role involves understanding client needs, explaining product value, collaborating with internal departments, and meeting revenue targets. While the company utilizes AI-powered tools and AI systems in its operations and hiring process, this specific role is focused on sales and client management, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value
  2. Manage the full sales cycle for renewals, upsell and cross-sell using cross-departmental expertise as primary resources
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client needs fulfilment
  4. Proactively engage cross-functionally to bring new product development, client engagement and competitive intelligence strategies to the larger team
  5. Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of closing sales experience
  • minimum of 2 year selling into the Nordics market
  • proven track record of developing a greenfield territory and expanding business
  • SFDC proficiency
  • Experience in cross-functional teams to ensure Customer Success and satisfaction
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Swedish
