Account Manager role at Booking.com focused on managing and growing relationships with accommodation partners in Germany. Responsibilities include informing partners about business performance, market opportunities, and new products/services, as well as training them on Booking.com's systems and tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business;
  2. Responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with the accommodation partners (i.e. visiting accommodations, contacting on regular basis);
  3. Acting on leads, partner feedback and information on competitor activity;
  4. Able to translate statistics and insights about Booking.com's competitors as well as local market knowledge into relevant actions;
  5. Responsible for providing trainings to accommodations about the online reservation systems;

Skills

Required

  • Native or fluent level proficiency in spoken and written English and German
  • Significant experience in a relevant account management/sales/business development function
  • Proven experience within e-commerce and/or travel, hotel sales
  • Proactive with a sense of responsibility and can work independently
  • Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Driver’s license
  • Availability to travel up to 50% to a designated area within the country
