This role is a Business Initiatives Manager within JPMorgan Chase's Commercial & Investment Bank, focusing on the Client360 platform. The role involves converting strategy into execution for initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and business adoption, partnering with product and technology teams. It operates within the Data, Digital & AI division, implementing data- and AI-enabled commercial solutions and tracking progress. The manager will support business leaders, engineering, and operations, ensuring outcomes are measurable and aligned with program objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting initiative development and execution, participating in program planning and risk management, contributing to business initiatives from ideation to implementation, coaching junior team members, collaborating with various teams, defining business experiences, supporting foundational business processes, establishing KPIs, leveraging analytics (including ML/AI) for insights, understanding internal team needs, and utilizing business initiatives for personalized client experiences and streamlined operations, while supporting regulatory compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports the development and execution of business initiatives for the Client360 Transformation, ensuring alignment with CIB-wide goals and broader organizational objectives.
  2. Participates in the planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of business programs, including frameworks for process improvement, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  3. Contributes to business initiatives, from ideation and strategic development to implementation and continuous improvement, adapting to evolving business needs and managing risks to achieve growth targets.
  4. Coaches and mentors junior team members on best practices in business analysis, solution generation, stakeholder engagement, and change management, enabling effective delivery of objectives.
  5. Collaborates with engineering, operations, and business teams to maintain and enhance processes and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and user-centricity.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering business initiatives, projects, or transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of business process improvement, strategic planning, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to support adoption of key business lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Experience supporting change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Track record of contributing to large-scale business integration and analytics projects.
  • Good understanding of business integration techniques, data governance, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to prioritize and deliver what clients and stakeholders need.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders to drive business innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking about business initiatives and their impact on organizational objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and present complex business concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with emerging technologies and best practices in business analytics and CRM.
