Asset Management - Transfer Agency Analyst

This role is for a Transfer Agency Analyst in Asset Management at JPMorgan Chase, focusing on supporting strategic initiatives and projects for the Hong Kong business. What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Product Development, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Controls to design and implement solutions for new business opportunities and complex events affecting existing operating models.
  2. Execute project plans, onboarding checklists, and account setup requirements to ensure timely delivery of key milestones and business outcomes.
  3. Manage vendor incidents and service issues, including investigation, resolution, and escalation of key risks and roadblocks, in close partnership with Client Service teams, Trustees, Compliance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.
  4. Oversee services delivered by the outsourced Transfer Agent in Hong Kong, including regulatory reporting, product and fund lifecycle events, offshored processes, and tax reporting such as FATCA and CRS.
  5. Monitor market and regulatory developments across different jurisdictions and assess their impact on operational processes and funds.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Basic fund accounting knowledge, including the ability to assess the profit and loss impact to the investor or fund arising from vendor errors.
  • Proven track record of high performance within operational teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience delivering strategic projects with measurable results.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong risk awareness, operational control, problem-solving, and process improvement capability.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is critical.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice to have

  • Strong data management and automation skills are preferred, including experience with AI tools such as Alteryx or Python.
  • Project management skills, including incident management and escalation handling.
  • Knowledge of FATCA and CRS is preferred.
  • Audit experience within the financial institutions industry is preferred.
