Associate Director for Ethics & Compliance in Lilly China, leading a team to design and execute risk-based monitoring and data analytics capabilities. The role focuses on identifying, mitigating, and preventing compliance risks by translating monitoring outputs and data insights into actionable intelligence. It involves people leadership, resource planning, developing monitoring methodologies, analyzing trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen controls and drive remediation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of 3–4 E&C professionals within the Monitoring & Data Intelligence COE, providing clear direction, coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
  2. Plan and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of monitoring, analytics, and reporting activities.
  3. Serve as a key contributor to the E&C COE by designing and executing risk-based monitoring programs across prioritized compliance risk areas, aligned with affiliate risk priorities and global expectations.
  4. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve monitoring methodologies, analytics models, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to enhance risk detection, early warning, and insight generation capabilities.
  5. Review and challenge monitoring outputs and analyses produced by the team to ensure quality, consistency, and relevance.

  • Strong analytical capability with demonstrated experience leveraging data, monitoring outputs, and insights to inform decisions and drive risk mitigation.
