Associate Director of Technology at Eli Lilly's new manufacturing site in Concord, NC. What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure reliable project and support delivery for IT systems supporting QC operations, including LabVantage, Moda, Empower, and all QC equipment lifecycle support.
  2. Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within allocated budgets and resources — defining requirements, developing plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  3. Drive innovation in system support and delivery using AI and advanced analytics; manage the delivery of analytics solutions.
  4. Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives, driving innovation and operational efficiency across a greenfield, digitally-native manufacturing site.
  5. Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Skills

Required

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing IT strategies
  • Understanding of emerging technologies — cloud computing, IoT, AI, and data analytics
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL
  • Proven track record delivering complex IT projects
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience implementing and maintaining validated systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of IT leadership experience in a GMP-regulated industry
  • Experience with IT audits, compliance assessments, and remediation activities
