The Associate Director - Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Cardiometabolic Health at Eli Lilly is a field-based role focused on scientific exchange within a specific therapeutic area. What you'd actually do

  1. Engage in continuous learning to maintain the highest level of technical expertise within the therapeutic area they represent.
  2. Respond to the diverse medical information needs based on customer requests.
  3. Establish themself as a reliable, trusted, resource of unbiased, accurate, up-to-date, medical and scientific information requested by their customers.
  4. Act as one of the primary interfaces between Lilly medical and SEs/CEs to deliver a positive customer experience and utilize MSL capabilities that enhance customer engagement.
  5. Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal Lilly medical and cross functional teams.

Skills

Required

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience desired.
  • Masters or bachelor's level degree in health sciences (e.g. BSN, RPh, PA, NP) considered if 5 or more years clinical, research or industry experience in relevant therapeutic area is present.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

  • Cardiometabolic therapeutic area experience is strongly preferred.
  • Field based position requires ability to travel up to 80% and work up to 4 to 6 weekends a year.
  • Applicants should live in close proximity to a transport hub (airport/train station).
