What you'd actually do

  1. Provide Home support as Liaison or Design Engineer functions for ongoing modifications for all BGS Mods Product Lines: Interiors, Connectivity/VIP, Avionics/AP&S, and BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter)
  2. Provide on-site modification support as Liaison or Design Engineer functions (when BCA or BGS core support is unavailable)
  3. Write, coordinate, and disposition IDRs (Installation Deviation Record) for Airplane Modifications
  4. Review and respond to Service Requests (SR) from Airline Customers in the Modifications Support queue of Boeing Communication System (BCS)
  5. Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle

Skills

Required

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 3+ years of related work experience
