This role is for a Business Development Representative Associate focused on sales and merchant acquisition within the fintech domain. The primary responsibilities include outbounding to prospective sellers, promoting Square's value proposition, and identifying qualified opportunities for the sales team. It is a sales-focused role with a data-driven approach to prospecting, email, and calling at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a diverse pipeline of businesses and prioritize outreach to accelerate sales cycles
  2. Reach out to businesses in your pipeline at scale through cold calling, emailing and social selling
  3. Promote urgency through a solutions-based sales approach, identifying challenges with businesses and providing targeted value around how Square can help
  4. Grow your career in sales through frequent developmental opportunities and mentorship from the Account Executive team
  5. Consistently attain and exceed your monthly quotas
