This role is for a Central GTM Strategy & Operations Manager at Notion, focusing on shaping the company's global go-to-market strategy and operating system. The manager will own systems, analyses, and performance narratives to guide business decisions, drive strategic initiatives, and operationalize GTM priorities. Key responsibilities include global performance management, strategic GTM analytics, driving GTM programs, designing the GTM operating system, and leveraging automation and AI for efficiency. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills, with experience in fast-paced, quantitative environments. While not requiring deep AI expertise, curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools are important.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own core GTM performance reporting including forecasting, QBRs, Board updates, weekly business reviews, and ad-hoc updates. Build the systems and narratives that surface business health, risks, and opportunities for leadership decision-making.
  2. Lead high-impact analyses that shape how we invest and grow, including market expansion, segmentation, coverage models, headcount allocation, and productivity optimization.
  3. Drive high impact GTM initiatives from problem definition through execution, including forecasting redesigns, funnel efficiency improvements, post-sales target & incentive strategy, territory and motion design, quota strategy, sales profile design, and AI-enabled transformation efforts.
  4. Design and continuously improve the operating cadence, KPI frameworks, target methodologies, and cross-functional planning systems for Sales & Post-Sales, while ensuring other orgs (Marketing, Finance, CX, etc.) are aligned to shared GTM priorities.
  5. Identify inefficiencies and build scalable solutions using automation and AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual work, accelerate insights, and increase leverage across GTM teams.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in highly analytical, fast-paced environments (e.g., strategy & ops, finance, consulting, investment banking, or similar quantitative roles)
  • Strong first-principles problem solving and structured thinking, with ability to break down ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills, including ability to conduct complex analysis in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code)
  • Experience designing dashboards, KPI frameworks, or performance reporting systems that drive business decisions and executive visibility
  • Extreme ownership mindset with track record of independently leading multi-month initiatives in ambiguous environments
  • Strong cross-functional communication and executive presence, with ability to influence across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Data, and Product teams
  • Strong systems thinking with ability to identify inefficiencies and design scalable process improvements; you don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
