Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is seeking a Client Consulting Manager, Managed Services in Amsterdam. This role involves leading consulting initiatives, designing and deploying analytical frameworks, and partnering with cross-functional teams to address client opportunities and challenges in the payments and fintech space. The manager will act as a trusted advisor, build scalable solutions, and lead/coach consulting teams, focusing on driving client performance and profitability through data-driven strategies and strong stakeholder management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and deliver consulting initiatives, contributing to engagement closure by identifying and shaping client opportunities.
  2. Engage in regular strategic and planning discussions cultivate and actively manage a pipeline of analytics led consulting work.
  3. Design and deploy analytical frameworks, data driven strategies, and practical solutions addressing high impact client opportunities and challenges.
  4. Partner effectively with cross functional teams (e.g. marketing, products, risk, innovation) and global regional stakeholders to leverage Visas full capabilities.
  5. Produce clear, actionable insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, accelerate growth, and inform strategic decision making.

Skills

Required

  • Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing ROI.
  • Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills (especially by designing, building, and showcasing project results packages and delivery materials).
  • Strong team orientation with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style and able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently and work independently.
  • Deep experience and a track record of high performance in large consulting firm or corporate strategy.
  • Competence in using financial indicators to assess business performance, focusing heavily on return on investment.
  • Ability to draw meaningful insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Proficient in data-driven storytelling with effective data visualization, use data to improve project execution.
  • Able to generate templates + storyboards (flow / structure), guide others, and ask questions to uncover new areas of analysis.
  • Ability to take a problem statement and support crafting proposals with guidance from leadership, like competitive analysis.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of card issuers' P&L and critical factors in driving profitability a plus.
