Commercial Account Executive responsible for acquiring new customers and closing deals in the SMB market to drive Datadog's overall business growth. This role involves following a defined sales methodology, collaborating with internal stakeholders, identifying customer needs, and clearly communicating the value of Datadog's products. The AE will have the opportunity to build a career in sales and contribute to the success of the Datadog team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus on new logo acquisition through outbound activities
  2. Become a Datadog expert through continuous product and sales training
  3. Manage the entire sales cycle, including technical demos and negotiations
  4. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity
  5. Strategically prospect Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users
