What you'd actually do

  1. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top commercial AE talent
  2. Inspect the daily workflow of your team — pipeline hygiene, activity cadence, deal velocity — to drive KPI accountability and surface coaching opportunities in real time
  3. Run structured weekly 1:1s and team meetings that reinforce priorities, sharpen skills, and sustain a high-performance culture
  4. Build and execute individualized coaching plans to close performance gaps and accelerate development
  5. Partner with AEs on live deals — joining calls, supporting negotiations, and helping navigate internal approvals for complex or high-value opportunities

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years as a closing Account Executive
  • 1+ years in a team lead or management role
  • Experience in high-velocity, high-transaction sales
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Experience navigating cross-functional deal processes
  • Coaching and developing people
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the MarTech, ecommerce, or DTC ecosystem
  • Background selling against legacy MarTech or Service platforms
