Intel is seeking a Solution Lead for their Consumer Industries vertical to drive the design and development of integrated AI solutions for retail, grocery, hospitality, and banking. This role involves roadmap planning, portfolio alignment, and customer/partner engagement, focusing on edge-native transactional platforms. The ideal candidate will translate industry trends and customer insights into actionable roadmaps and deployable solutions, balancing strategic direction with near-term clarity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive roadmap requirements aligned to business objectives, device strategies, market needs, and technology readiness.
  2. Translate industry trends, customer insights, regulatory considerations, and internal constraints into clear roadmap priorities and tradeoffs.
  3. Partner closely with product management, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure feasibility, dependency management, and alignment with platform strategies.
  4. Support annual and quarterly planning cycles by developing roadmap narratives, options, and scenario analyses for leadership decision making.
  5. Partner with device architects and technical leads to shape future state solutions and articulate the art of the possible for priority customers and use cases.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in the retail industry developing checkout or transactional systems and solutions, or the retail ecosystem designing retail devices or solutions
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, platform, or solution roadmap planning, or solution strategy
  • 2+ years of experience translating ambiguous market signals into structured priorities, roadmaps, and solution direction
