Coordinator, Production Safety and Sustainability

This role supports the systems, processes, and tools for safe and responsible screen production, focusing on improving operational efficiency through IT platforms, data management, and digital workflows. Responsibilities include managing departmental systems for safety and sustainability initiatives, coordinating training, maintaining documentation libraries, and producing operational reports.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist with department meeting management, including scheduling, preparation of agendas and materials, tracking actions and recording key outcomes.
  2. Support project coordination and training administration across the department, including tracking participation and maintaining records.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to support the development, revision and formatting of written communications, guidance and program materials.
  4. Provide coordination and systems support to the Production Safety & Sustainability operational teams, using knowledge of production environments and digital safety systems to assist productions and departmental operations.
  5. Maintain central libraries of safety documentation, risk assessments and operational resources to ensure they are accessible to production teams and safety advisors.

  • You demonstrate adaptability by working effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment while managing multiple priorities, flexing to stakeholder needs.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with digital systems, databases and workflow management tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in an operational support, systems administration or project coordination role is preferred.
  • You'll bring a good knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures.
  • Experience working within a film, television, production, safety, sustainability or operational environment is highly desirable.
