Figma is seeking a Designer Advocate for their Figma Weave product, focusing on AI-native craft and creativity. This role involves enabling users at scale through content creation, supporting sales demos, engaging with the community, speaking at events, and providing product feedback. The ideal candidate has experience building AI-driven creative workflows, familiarity with node-based tools, and expertise in a creative domain. The role is primarily focused on helping users leverage AI within Figma to build repeatable creative workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Enable Figma Weave users at scale: Produce standard methodology guides, create resources, and host live streams to help our users better understand how to use the tool and encourage others to share their takeaways and experiences
  2. Sales enablement: For key high value accounts, join sales demos to explain the product, share standard methodologies, and answer in-depth questions
  3. Motivate and empower the community: Maintain and establish relationships with users in the community and find opportunities to collaborate
  4. Events: Speak regularly at meet ups and conferences. Support community advocates managing events worldwide
  5. Advocate for users with the product team: Keep a pulse on community sentiment on product releases and emerging themes. Share product feedback from the community with PM & Design in an organised, systematic way. Act as trusted advisor for launches to prepare for community reaction

Skills

Required

  • Experience building AI-driven creative workflows or generative pipelines
  • Familiarity with node-based or procedural tools (e.g., ComfyUI, Houdini, TouchDesigner, Runway, or similar)
  • Ability to translate creative processes into repeatable systems or workflows that others can adopt
  • Experience teaching, documenting, or sharing workflows with creative or technical audiences, including through events or live demos (travel up to 25%)
  • Deep expertise in a creative domain such as motion, VFX, post-production, design systems, or creative automation
