Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, collaborating closely with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality applications.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage Microservices-based architecture
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, QA, DevOps)
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement and technical discussions
Employees at all levels are expected to:
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience building REST APIs
- Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate
- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Basic experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus
- Understanding of API security (JWT, OAuth – preferred)
- Familiarity with Git / version control
- Basic exposure to Docker / Kubernetes is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of Kafka / RabbitMQ
- Experience with JUnit / Mockito for unit testing
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
