This role is for a Director of Business Development focused on Advanced Effects for the Air Dominance and Strike Division at Anduril Industries, a defense technology company. The primary responsibility is to identify, shape, capture, and grow new opportunities and capabilities, particularly with the US Navy (NAVSEA) and international partners, for the company's Advanced Effects business line. This involves understanding customer needs, programmatic roadmaps, competitive landscapes, developing capture strategies, driving product development by translating client problems to engineering, and communicating Anduril's value. The role requires extensive experience in Navy weapons programs, customer engagement, and understanding of missile systems, with a strong emphasis on business growth and revenue generation.

Required

  • Leading or supporting creation, requirements definition, acquisition strategy, and/or shaping and capture of Navy weapons programs
  • Working with US Navy program offices / customers
  • Understanding of the NAVSEA customer community, requirements process, and operational needs
  • Working with technical partners / engineering teams
  • Understanding with missile systems within Naval surface domain
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and government stakeholders
  • Ability to travel 50% – 75%
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
