This role is for a Director System Architect at AMD, focusing on wired communication technologies and their integration with emerging AI/ML applications in wired networks. The responsibilities include product planning, defining system architectures, customer engagement, and enabling sales for AMD technology adoption. While the role involves understanding and enabling AI/ML inference applications, it is not a core AI/ML development role but rather an architecture and system integration role that leverages AI/ML tools for productivity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Product planning and product roadmaps for FPGA/SoC, IP, custom ASIC aligned with technological trends and emerging use cases
  2. Identify customer system requirements, develop system architecture proposals to help customer differentiate, lower cost, power, and TTM. Focus on customers in North America.
  3. Contributing to business strategy & successful execution of strategy to fruition, sales and field training/ enablement and demand generation Identify
  4. Define system design requirements, design & implementation of system reference designs
  5. Guide/ mobilize/ and work with internal engineering teams and partner ecosystem for timely execution of IP and system reference designs
