Shield AI is seeking an Electrical Integration & Test Engineer to design and automate test systems for critical UAV electrical systems, including power electronics, RF communications, and system integration. The role involves PCB design, Python scripting for automation, and environmental testing to ensure high reliability and mission integrity for their X-BAT aircraft.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and own test systems for critical UAV electrical system test, from concept to validation.
  2. Work across multiple EE disciplines, including power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration.
  3. Develop PCBs to interface between test stands and the device-under-test (DUT).
  4. Build custom test fixtures integrating PCBAs, Test Equipment, and harnessing for automated and high-fidelity testing.
  5. Automate test sequences using Python, ensuring repeatability, efficiency, and scalability.
