Enterprise Account Executive - Public Sector, West

This is an Enterprise Account Executive role focused on the Public Sector in the Pacific Northwest for Samsara, a company providing a Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. The role involves developing executive-level relationships, owning customer engagements from prospecting to close, and demonstrating solution-based sales processes in complex sales campaigns. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in full-cycle sales, consistent quota over-achievement, and experience with enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships. The company's platform aims to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in industries like agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop Executive-Level relationships within strategic, named accounts
  2. Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
  3. Demonstrate excellent solution-based sales processes in complex sales campaigns
  4. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and $500k+ ARR transactions
  • Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships
  • Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
