JPMorgan Chase is hiring an Analyst/Associate for their Asia Systematic Trading team. The role involves research, development, and execution of systematic trading strategies for equities and equity derivatives in Asian markets. Responsibilities include partnering with quants and technologists, enhancing trading systems, innovating across alpha generation, pricing, execution, hedging, and risk management, monitoring market structure and regulatory developments, and producing pre- and post-trade analytics. Requires 1-5 years of experience in systematic trading or related quantitative roles, strong Python proficiency, and experience with risk management and P&L analytics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with quants and technologists to develop systematic trading and derivatives strategies
  2. Design, development, and enhance proprietary trading systems for best-in-class performance
  3. Innovate across alpha generation, pricing/quoting, execution, hedging, and position/risk management to improve risk-adjusted returns and resilience.
  4. Monitor and interpret market structure changes, exchange microstructure, regulatory developments, and competitor behavior; translate insights into strategy and platform enhancements.
  5. Product and maintain pre-trade and post-trade analytics, P&L attribution, and performance monitoring to diagnose drivers, validate hypotheses, and improve decision-making.
