This role supports compliance programs within Merck's Human Health Division, focusing on business practices, policies, and ethical standards. The Business Practices Steward will assist in overseeing the implementation of the compliance program, manage monitoring systems, and provide guidance on local codes of practice and healthcare professional interactions. The role also involves data privacy activities and preparing training sessions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supporting the Business Practices Manager in daily activities to enhance awareness on Company’s Values & Standards, Corporate Policies and Compliance Policies, SOPs & Guidance.
  2. Serve as “guardian” of all business-related policies and procedures that include compliance controls (excluding policies owned by Finance or HR).
  3. Helping the BPM to ensure consistent and effective compliance standards are in place in the organization.
  4. Supporting the implementation and operation of tracking / monitoring systems (e.g. EMPOWERbi, BPO Dashboard, Aggregate Spend)
  5. Managing HCP interactions monitoring controlss
