F-22 Air Vehicle Subsystems Electrical/electronic Technical Designer (part Time)

This role supports the development and maintenance of electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs, and engineering documentation for the F-22 Air Vehicle Subsystems. It involves troubleshooting anomalies, coordinating testing, preparing technical documents, and validating system designs under close supervision. The position is part-time and requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assists in the development and maintenance of electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards.
  2. Supports the investigation and troubleshooting of anomalies in fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  3. Assists in the coordination and conducting of test and data analysis activities.
  4. Prepares technical documents for presentations and customer reviews/proposals
  5. Uses basic design tools to prepare documentation and incorporates basic design changes.

  • Experience with modern Automatic Test System and Test Program Set hardware and software
  • Previous experience in Electronic and Electrical Technical design
  • Hand on experience repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
  • Use of oscilloscope, multi-meter and other lab equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools
