Farm Systems Support Technician (field Based) - South West and Southern England

This role provides after-sales technical support for livestock intelligence solutions, including monitoring, milking systems, and RFID readers. Responsibilities include fault finding, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity, delivering proactive support, conducting site surveys, coordinating installations, providing customer training, and managing post-sales technical issues. The ideal candidate has experience in technical fault finding, farm-based equipment support, and strong customer-facing skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead all after-sales technical support for our livestock intelligence solutions, including monitoring, milking systems, and RFID readers, including fault finding and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and connectivity
  2. Deliver proactive support through planned follow-ups, system health checks, and early identification of potential issues to minimise downtime and repeat faults
  3. Complete and review site surveys, ensuring systems are correctly specified and suitable for on-farm installation
  4. Coordinate, implement, and approve product installations, working closely with installers and internal teams
  5. Deliver in-person onboarding and training for new customers to ensure confidence in system use
