Finance Analytics Manager

This role is for a Finance Analytics Manager at Boeing, leading a team that works across the full spectrum of the Finance Analytics tech stack, including Data Science, Data Engineering, BI Engineering, Reporting, and Automation. The manager will partner with various teams to deliver analytics solutions, focusing on people leadership, technical strategy, and governance. While the team's work spans various analytics facets including AI, the primary focus is on managing the team and strategy rather than direct AI/ML model development.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL/T-SQL
  • 1+ years of experience in programming experience in data analysis languages (R and/or Python)
  • Experience with good communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • Experience and/or exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent advanced experience
  • Experience in a formal management role in a technical field
  • Experience working in technology, manufacturing, or business analytics
  • Experience working in a role that develops Data Science solutions as part of a cross-functional team that includes Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Intelligence Analysts
  • Experience with infrastructure such as code, automation tools and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for data infrastructure
  • Experience with security, privacy, and governance for sensitive financial data, including access controls, encryption, and SOX/compliance requirements
  • Experience optimizing cost and performance for cloud data environments
  • Experience in Finance domain (Earned Value Management (EVM), accounting, treasury, reconciliation, payments, FP&A) or working closely with Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership across cross‑functional teams
