Financial Analyst, Production

Financial Analyst role at a defense technology company focused on manufacturing and production execution. Responsibilities include financial management, cost analysis, modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. End to end financial management of production execution: including, but not limited to, headcount, cash/working capital, demand planning, standard costing, production attainment, and managing product margins.
  2. Establish transparency into material cost for existing and future Anduril products.
  3. Work cross functionally with Division Finance and Manufacturing Functional teams to own consolidation of Product Revenue and costing models, business case analyses, and decision making frameworks.
  4. Build novel financial frameworks for thinking through operational decisions, including but not limited to manufacturing, supply chain, etc.
  5. Perform in-depth quantitative analyses including variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior), trend analysis, scenario modeling, and root-cause investigations to identify performance drivers and risks.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing finance, business unit finance, management consulting, investment banking, or similar
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • MBA or technical background (Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations) is a plus
