As an Analyst within the EMTN Desk in Paris, you will play a key role in originating and executing third-party private placements for a diverse range of issuers, including Supranationals, Sovereigns, Agencies, FIG, and Corporates. You will sit within the Frequent Borrower Syndicate and DCM team, with dual reporting into Rates Trading and Global Syndicate, giving you broad exposure across the firm. Working closely with traders, sales, and support functions, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of transactions in a fast-paced, private-side environment.
Job responsibilities
- Originate and facilitate third-party private placements, including negotiating mandates with issuers across Supra, Sovereign, Agency, FIG, and Corporate sectors.
- Price vanilla and structured pay-offs, developing and pushing trade ideas to sales teams.
- Collaborate closely with traders, sales, legal, middle office, compliance, and credit functions to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Book trades and coordinate with middle and back office teams to support accurate and timely processing.
- Compile and analyze market data and statistics to support desk activity and decision-making.
- Prepare presentation materials and internal reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships across multiple divisions and time zones.

- Strong approach to control environment with the ability to understand and interpret legal documentation.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Willingness to obtain the relevant AMF License registration.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience in bond markets and/or swaps pricing.
- Familiarity with private placement structures and debt capital markets workflows.
- Experience working with AI tools in a financial markets context.
- Exposure to a private-side role within a financial institution.
