This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to various alarms and incidents, and collaborating with emergency response teams in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The operator will handle routine and emergency calls, monitor CCTV, and create dispatch and incident reports. While the role utilizes technology, it does not involve the direct development or deployment of AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Monitor alarms, including fire, door, and duress alarms, while answering routine and emergency calls.
  2. Monitor CCTV, to protect the building and assets, also to prevent or help stop any crime from occurring.
  3. Respond to life safety incidents (medical emergencies, natural disasters) and dispatch security officers, ERT, police, fire, and EMS personnel as needed via phone and radio.
  4. Create dispatch records for each officer deployed during your shift, and initiate incident reports and work orders as needed.
  5. Monitor Alert media to identify, analyze, and support all events and incidents that impact or potentially could impact operations, facilities, and employees globally.

Skills

Required

  • Familiarity with security CCTV monitoring systems and protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple lines of communication and multitask.
  • Basic proficiency with surveillance and alarm systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear incident documentation and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor in all interactions
  • Proven ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Nice to have

  • associate or bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107)
  • Experience in incident response and crisis management.
  • Knowledge of physical security protocols and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of global security challenges and cultural sensitivity for operating in diverse environments.
