Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Intern – System Engineer ** to join our EMEA Proposal and Estimating team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in solution definition, implementing of AI in engineering activities, proposal preparation, cost estimation, and project management in the area of the process automation. The successful candidate will assist in various tasks, supporting the team in delivering quality proposals to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with estimators supporting them with partial tasks to speed up the process
- Looking after technical details, solutions to be implemented into the proposal.
- Using and implementing AI in daily engineering activities
- Taking part in internal negotiations with Sales/Estimation/Engineering/Operations/Sourcing Teams
- Working out solutions individually to be discussed and implemented into the solution as one team.
We Value
- University studies in Automation, Process Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, Electrical, Energy, Telecommunications, IT Engineering are in progress.
- Willing to develop extensive product knowledge, understand, apply and work with latest Honeywell technology.
- Students in the 3rd, 4th or 5th year at University
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to identify opportunities to implement AI in the daily work.
- Is a team player that can share best practice and develop estimating teams.
- Fluent in English and Bulgarian.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Endurance, exactitude, solidity, patience.
- Technical mindset.
- Ability to identify context/connections/interdependences.
- Assertiveness, self-motivated, flexible and able to manage changes.
- Proactive approach, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team/environment.
