This role is for an Internal Auditor in the Commercial & Investment Bank Markets at JPMorgan Chase. The primary focus is on evaluating control environments, executing audit assignments, and utilizing data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance audit processes within the financial services domain. The role requires experience in financial services audit and knowledge of automated auditing tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute audit assignments with minimal supervision

  3. Establish and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders
  4. Partner with business and technology audit colleagues to assess key risks and execute audit assignments
  5. Communicate audit observations and results clearly and concisely

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of internal or external audit experience in financial services
  • Professional qualifications attained from reputable training institutes or professional bodies (e.g., ACA, CPA, CIA)
  • Knowledge of automated auditing tools
  • Willingness to travel (20%) for regional audit engagements
  • Strong data analytics skills using Excel, Alteryx, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, issue/impact analysis, and executive report preparation
  • Ability to lead assigned audit tasks, work effectively within a matrix organization, manage multiple projects, and participate in audit assignments in a team environment
  • Good understanding of internal control concepts and audit methodology with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy and effectiveness of controls
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
