Latam AI & Business Transformation Avp

The LatAm AI & Business Transformation AVP will lead a business-led, AI-enabled regional strategy that translates enterprise priorities into execution and measurable business and P&L impact across LatAm. This role orchestrates cross-functional AI transformation, establishes governance, and acts as a senior advisor on AI transformation and adoption.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a regional transformation portfolio, prioritizing AI, digital, and process initiatives based on strategic fit, value, feasibility, adoption readiness, and execution capacity across countries and lines of business.
  2. Define the multi-year regional AI strategy, translating enterprise priorities into country and LoB roadmaps with clear sequencing, governance, milestones, and measurable impact.
  3. Partner with regional and country leaders to identify, prioritize, and embed AI where it creates tangible business value.
  4. Own, together with country and functional leaders, the business value delivered by transformation and AI initiatives, including growth, productivity, simplification, customer experience, and scaled adoption.
  5. Establish governance and decision forums to align priorities, secure sponsorship, allocate resources, manage dependencies, and escalate risks with appropriate executive visibility.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy, consulting, digital, AI, or operating model roles within insurance or financial services.
  • 10+ years leading large, cross-functional transformation portfolios in highly matrixed regional or global organizations.
  • Proven ability to connect executive priorities with practical execution, combining business, strategy, technology, and AI acumen.
  • Experience working across countries and cultures, aligning teams around a shared strategy, common frameworks, and consistent execution.
  • Strong portfolio governance and transformation management capability, including KPIs, benefits tracking, risks, milestones, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to turn strategy into executable frameworks, workplans, and measurable outcomes with disciplined follow-through.
  • Strong consulting profile, with the ability to structure complex problems, influence senior stakeholders, and drive execution in a matrixed environment.
  • Broad understanding of strategy, operating models, process redesign, enabling technologies, AI adoption, and transformation governance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong change management and influencing capability.
  • High level of business judgment, resilience, adaptability, and execution focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships across functions and organizational levels.
