This role is for a Lead Solutions Architect in Milan, focusing on pre-sales for Klaviyo's Mid-Market and Enterprise segment. The role involves building technical relationships, designing solutions, and understanding how Klaviyo integrates into client technology stacks. The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a Solutions Architect, hands-on experience with web development languages and APIs, knowledge of marketing automation and related domains, strong technical communication skills, and a sales-oriented approach. While AI is mentioned as a tool to enhance workflows and exploration, the core function of the role is pre-sales and solution architecture for a marketing automation platform, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or in a role architecting software products at scale
  • 5+ years working hands-on with web development languages (JavaScript, Node.js, React), REST APIs, and/or general-purpose languages such as Python
  • Strong working knowledge across several of the following: marketing automation, CDPs, ecommerce platforms, mobile applications, analytics, adtech, or data science
  • Credible technical communicator
  • Salesperson's instinct
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC

Nice to have

  • Experience building or contributing to integration frameworks, partner ecosystems, or developer tooling
  • Prior experience in the Italian market or with Italian ecommerce and retail brands
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo or comparable B2C CRM and marketing automation platforms
