This role is focused on developing and scaling learning experiences within a company that develops AI technology. The primary responsibilities include strategic partnership, learning design, leadership development, culture enablement, and measurement of learning initiatives. The role requires experience in L&D strategy, program design, stakeholder management, and data evaluation, with a focus on enabling and scaling learning rather than direct delivery.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with key stakeholders to identify capability gaps and design L&D strategies aligned to business priorities
  2. Design and implement high-impact programmes (e.g. technical upskilling, leadership development, onboarding)
  3. Build and scale our approach for manager and leadership effectiveness
  4. Embed a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and feedback
  5. Define success metrics and evaluate the impact of learning initiatives

Skills

Required

  • Proven experience in a strategic L&D or Talent Development partner, ideally in a tech or scale-up environment
  • Experience in skills needs analysis and skills assessments
  • Knowledge of different L&D principles, models and frameworks
  • Solid stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders
  • Expertise in designing L&D programmes alongside subject matter experts and building from scratch
  • Strong awareness of best practice and technological advances e.g. eLearning platforms and authoring tools
  • Creative and resourceful in finding innovative learning solutions
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to tie learning initiatives to business outcomes
  • Experience using data to evaluate effectiveness and inform decisions

Nice to have

  • Experience in AI, deep tech, or engineering-led organisation
  • Strong delivery and facilitation skills
