Life Science Senior Manager

This role is for a Life Science Senior Manager within Deloitte's AI & Engineering team, focusing on transforming technology platforms and driving innovation for clients in the life sciences sector. The manager will advise on operating model and organizational design, implement patient services technology solutions (including CRM and data analytics), drive new business opportunities, and present findings to clients. While the role involves using AI platforms like ChatGPT for research and documentation, its core focus is on client transformation and product implementation within the life sciences industry, not on building AI models or core AI infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Advise clients and Deloitte professionals on operating model design to support life sciences patient engagement organizations
  2. Advise clients and Deloitte professionals on organizational design to support life sciences patient engagement organizations
  3. Advise clients and Deloitte professionals (Product Owners, Designers, Developers, Architects) through the implementation of patient services technology solutions; including patient CRM, patient data & analytics solutions.
  4. Drive new business opportunities
  5. Prepare deliverables and provide leadership support to present findings and recommendations to clients and/or firm leadership

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences or related field
  • 10 years of experience in Life Sciences Patient Services Consulting
  • 1 year of experience utilizing AI platforms like Chat GPT / Grok / Anthropic to conduct research and as an aid for creating presentations and project documentation
  • 6 years of experience driving organization design initiatives for life sciences organizations
  • 6 years of experience driving operating model updates for life sciences organizations
  • 6 years of experience with PAP, Copay and/or Adherence Programs for a pharmaceutical manufacturer or patient services hub provider
  • 10 years of experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) to develop and deliver professional-quality documents, reports and presentations to client stakeholders and executive level leaders
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MHA, MBA)
  • SQL, Power BI, Tableau data analytics skills preferred
  • Experience coordinating with globally located teams
  • Salesforce System Architect, Salesforce Application Architect, or other relevant Salesforce certifications
  • Experience implementing Salesforce Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud
  • SAFe, PMP, PMI, or Agile certifications
  • Experience defining personas, user journeys, and product features for life sciences patient services clients
