Loan and Traditional Trade - Transaction Execution Associate - Credit Product Delivery Latin America

Associate role focused on the execution and closing of credit products, including Trade and Working Capital and Corporate & Investment Banking clients, within JPMorgan Chase's Latin America region. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, coordinating with internal/external parties, managing controls, and supporting post-closing activities. Requires knowledge of loan and trade products, credit execution, and strong communication/organizational skills. Familiarity with AI tools is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver best-in-class transaction execution management for credit products, including Trade and Working Capital (T&WC) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) clients, with end-to-end oversight of deal execution and closing process.
  2. Review conditions precedent and escalate when needed; coordinate closing activities with internal and external parties to ensure all execution related internal approvals are in place for timely completion.
  3. Liaise with internal and external counsel to prepare and review transactional documentation.
  4. Manage controls framework, reporting, and escalation for transaction execution.
  5. Actively contribute to Credit Product Delivery wider projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen risk and control outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Knowledge and understanding of Loan and Traditional Trade products and documentation, including bilateral and syndicated loan documentation.
  • Solid understanding of credit execution, transaction management, credit products, and banking processes.
  • Ability to identify problems and escalate these promptly; documentation knowledge and interpretation of key clauses.
  • Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset.
  • Good organization skills, ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with the Front Office globally.
  • Confident, self-starter, assertive, and energetic; sets high standards of performance for self.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
  • English and Spanish fluency

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or Law.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective systems adoption and responsible use of AI tools, demonstrating integrity and adherence to controls.
