M&a Human Capital Analyst

This role focuses on the human capital aspects of mergers and acquisitions, supporting clients with workforce transition, organization design, change management, and HR operating model decisions. It involves analyzing client data, developing workplans, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role is not directly involved in AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support human capital workstreams across the M&A lifecycle, including diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration or separation activities
  2. Develop and maintain workplans, status reports, issue logs, and client-ready deliverables related to organization design, workforce transition, change management, employee communications, and HR operating model activities
  3. Analyze client data, document current-state and future-state processes, and help identify risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations across functional teams
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams across areas such as finance, information technology, legal, operations, and human resources to support transaction execution
  5. Contribute to engagement delivery, internal practice initiatives, and proposal development through research, analysis, and preparation of materials in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions integration and divestiture, transaction-related human capital, or human capital service delivery
  • Experience supporting at least 1 M&A transaction
  • Experience supporting human capital workstreams such as organization design, workforce transition, change management, employee communications, or HR operating model activities
  • Experience developing client deliverables using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
