M&a Human Capital Due Diligence Senior Consultant

This role is for an M&A Human Capital Due Diligence Senior Consultant at Deloitte. The primary focus is on assessing workforce-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including compensation, benefits, HR compliance, talent, and culture. It involves identifying and quantifying transaction risks and opportunities related to these areas, and supporting clients through transformational initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform HC DD (some or all of compensation, benefits, HR compliance, labor relations, HR communications, operations and technology, talent and culture) by identifying and quantifying transaction risks and opportunities.
  2. Deliver client engagements that identify, design, and implement M&A services, with a focus on Organization Transformation and HR Strategy & Excellence.
  3. Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, including other Deloitte diligence workstreams, legal counsel, investment banks, and Client’s HR leadership.
  4. Support and/or deliver at least 5 Human Capital M&A projects, including restructuring, enterprise cost reduction, due diligence, assessment of transaction risks, target screening and integration planning and execution.
  5. Perform analysis including compensation benchmarking, individual equity proceeds (waterfall analysis or fully diluted share count), employee benefits side-by-side and migration cost analysis, executive compensation review including retention, severance, and transaction bonuses, turnover and open positions.
