M&a Product Tech Diligence Senior Manager

This role focuses on M&A product tech diligence, helping clients assess IT and software/product tech risks and opportunities in transactions. It involves operational diligence, divestiture support, and post-merger support, with a focus on identifying risks and value creation opportunities across IT organizations, processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud technology, and cybersecurity. The role also involves cost transformation and cost estimation analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with senior executives to define how they employ M&A – in alignment with their corporate strategy
  2. Partner with private equity clients as they evaluate their portfolio and engage in buy-side and sell-side inorganic opportunities
  3. Facilitate M&A product tech / software diligence discussions with clients and target companies across industries with a focus on identifying risks and value creation opportunities across the IT organization, processes, applications (custom-developed and off-the-shelf), infrastructure, cloud technology, and cyber-security; and demonstrate a keen understanding of how technology enables business strategy and operational capabilities
  4. Identify gaps and risk associated with software enablement, product maturity and IT technical debt and provide recommendations on how to mitigate the risks in the M&A context
  5. Demonstrate a keen understanding of technology costs and financials, and quickly conduct cost transformation and cost estimation analysis through a combination of 3rd party benchmark and proprietary data and tools
