M&a Strategy & Governance Senior Consultant

This role supports clients through mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, focusing on integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution. It involves setting engagement objectives, developing workplans, coordinating dependencies, and building relevant tools for financial analyses and client deliverables.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution and synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions.
  2. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing workplans, tracking milestones, coordinating dependencies across workstreams, and identifying changes in scope or risks.
  3. Building and selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business cases, pricing or complex financial analyses, and client-ready deliverables to support synergy, cost reduction, migration, and rationalization decisions.
  4. Working with managers and cross-functional teams to validate outputs, communicate recommendations, and deliver work aligned to client needs and engagement objectives.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in M&A integration and/or divestiture service delivery
  • Experience working on 2+ M&A engagements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years consulting or industry experience; alternatively, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and 2+ years of consulting or industry experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
