This role is for a Maintenance Assistant responsible for the day-to-day operations of office spaces, including cleanliness, safety, and light facilities maintenance. It involves managing service requests via a ticketing system, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the functionality of office furniture and equipment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and lead daily floor walkthroughs, identifying and resolving operational issues proactively to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all common areas, including conference rooms, phone booths, bathrooms, shower rooms, bike rooms, and supply closets.
  2. Works effectively within a ticketing system to manage service requests and ensure prompt resolution.
  3. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  4. Work in conjunction with maintenance engineers to perform upkeep tasks, such as tightening loose hardware and completing minor wall or carpet repairs. Report and assist with repairs that require vendor or specialized technician support.
  5. Manage and maintain mailroom operations, ensuring timely receipt, organization, and delivery of all incoming items. Maintain ownership of related procedures, including coordinating delivery schedules and facilitating the movement of packages to designated areas such as kitchen supply storage.
