What you'd actually do

  1. leads the development and execution of strategic approaches to manage and optimize business operations
  2. utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques to collect, organize, and interpret data, identifying trends and anomalies to uncover opportunities for improvement
  3. establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and develops dashboards to monitor operational processes, generate comprehensive reports, and create data visualizations that effectively communicate findings
  4. incorporates competitive intelligence and market share analysis by leveraging external data sources to benchmark performance against key competitors, identify market trends, and uncover growth opportunities
  5. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and ensure continuous improvement is a key aspect of the role

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5–8+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, data insights, business intelligence, or related roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in hypothesis-driven analysis, forecasting, and trend identification
  • Hands-on knowledge of BI and analytics tools, such as Tablau, PowerBI, Looker, modern data platforms and AI
  • Proven experience leveraging syndicated and market data (e.g., POS, consumer panel data) to generate market insights and inform decision-making
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., merchandising, marketing, finance) and influencing decision-making at multiple levels
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, or automation is preferred
