Manager FP&A Business Control Enabling Functions at Booking.com, responsible for financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for enabling functions and workforce management. What you'd actually do

  1. Act as primary FP&A partner for all Enabling Functions, providing guidance, analysis, and decision support for spend, FTE/resource planning, and operational investments.
  2. Lead the end-to-end workforce management process for Booking.com, including consolidated FTE forecasting, resource optimization, headcount tracking, and scenario development for capacity/resource planning.
  3. Develop and manage opex budgets and forecasts for enabling functions; analyze deviations, risks, and opportunities throughout the year.
  4. Consolidate and synthesize data from multiple sources to deliver robust, timely, and actionable financial and workforce insights to senior leadership.
  5. Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive digital transformation through AIML powered financial forecast, self-service analytics, automation, and process simplification.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in FP&A, business control, or financial management, preferably in large, matrixed, and/or technology-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage opex/spend, support resource/workforce planning, and provide incisive business partnering for enabling functions.
  • Experience with digital finance tools (SAP, Anaplan, Onestream); comfort learning new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and data synthesis abilities with the talent to convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Strong change management and communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and drive transformation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience managing a team of junior & senior business controllers/financial analysts.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
