Manager, Mobile Experience Researcher

Manager, Mobile Experience Researcher for Deloitte's Product Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, planning, and executing user research studies for mobile experiences, analyzing behavioral metrics, and driving design decisions. It involves a blend of qualitative and quantitative research to inform strategy, prototyping, and iterative testing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Defining and executing mobile research strategies across the product development lifecycle, from early concept exploration through post-launch evaluation
  2. Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research using methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, ethnographic research, and behavioral analysis to generate actionable insights
  3. Partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align research priorities with product strategy, user needs, and business goals
  4. Synthesizing findings into artifacts such as research readouts, personas, dashboards, and design recommendations that inform decision-making and improve user experiences
  5. Leading cross-functional workshops and mentoring researchers and team members to strengthen research practices and promote a customer-centered product mindset

  • 8+ years of experience conducting user research using qualitative and quantitative methods across the product development lifecycle
  • Experience conducting mobile experience research and applying research methods to mobile application workflows, behaviors, and usability
  • Experience translating research findings into deliverables such as personas, journey maps, usability findings, dashboards, or product recommendations
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams that include product management, design, and engineering
