This role is for a Manager within Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) focused on driving strategy and business development for Visa Consulting services across the Caribbean. The role involves creating business pipelines, developing solutions, producing insights, managing complex projects, and presenting findings to clients. It also includes driving thought leadership and leveraging GenAI tools for productivity. The domain is fintech, and the function is product-focused within a consulting context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive and execute VCA strategy across the Caribbean countries, proactively capitalizing on regional opportunities
  2. Create and develop a business pipeline for our Visa Consulting services for key players in the Caribbean.
  3. Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges.
  4. Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the payment P&L
  5. Project management of bespoke complex projects, working together with client facing and analytics

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Experience in payments industry or consulting services
  • Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth
  • Experience in managing and executing complex projects
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations, including products & services, business systems and processes
  • Fluent English and Spanish

Nice to have

  • Masters, MBA, JD, MD
  • PhD
  • Quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…)
  • Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability
  • Leverage GenAI tools to enhance productivity

  • 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Experience working in the payments industry or consulting services
  • Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth.
  • Experience in managing and executing complex projects that requires coordination of other functional teams.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
  • Understand how to leverage GenAI tools to enhance productivity.
