What you'd actually do

  1. Perform functions associated with all aspects of wafer production, including manufacturing operations, equipment handling, and process-related activities.
  2. Support equipment operation within the manufacturing area to meet safety, quality, output, and cost targets.
  3. Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment.
  4. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, complete repairs, and support defect reduction activities.
  5. Use technical manuals, specifications, drawings, diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks.

Skills

Required

  • Technical qualification (e.g. B.Sc., B.Eng.) in an approved Science or Engineering discipline, or NFQ Level 6/7 in a technical discipline, or recognised trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Instrumentation.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or medical device manufacturing.
  • 4+ years of hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
  • 4+ years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation in a regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proactive approach to driving operational and maintenance improvements.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and positive cultural change within the team.
  • Ability to work on a monthly rotating shift pattern.

  • Hands-on maintenance experience with semiconductor equipment.
