Network Operations Engineer responsible for physical installation and maintenance support within Comcast’s national labs, troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing new products and services. Requires deep understanding of MSO architectures and network incident response.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering.
  2. Engineer possesses a deep understanding of MSO architectures including CRAN, DAA, NDC, HFC, and cloud video.
  3. Individual responds to network incidents, determines actions or resources needed for correction, and drives resolution.
  4. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures.
  5. Maintains in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in area of discipline, usually determining own work priorities and serving as resource for colleagues with less experience.
