New Product Commercialization and Strategic Initiatives Lead

Lead the end-to-end commercialization of new small molecule pharmaceutical products and manage strategic projects within Merck's Animal Health business. This role involves portfolio leadership, driving execution of commercialization activities, overseeing strategic initiatives, and leading a senior team of directors. The focus is on ensuring successful, timely, and compliant product launches and business-critical strategic project execution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of NPC programs across the Small Molecule portfolio.
  2. Lead and oversee execution of high-priority strategic projects (e.g., CAPEX, network strategy, and transformation initiatives).
  3. Lead a team of Directors (P5/M3), Associate Directors (P4), and their teams.
  4. Act as the S&T leadership interface across S&T, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, and Sales & Marketing (global and local).
  5. Oversee technology transfer, process validation, and readiness for commercial supply of new products with robust fit for purpose processes.
