This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) responsibilities in the Bucharest office, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal standards. It also involves providing reception and day-to-day workplace support, partnering with vendors and employees to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. The role sits within the People Team and requires a self-starter who can manage OHS responsibilities proactively and adapt to evolving global conditions. The individual will also handle visitor reception, maintain the reception area, provide customer service to employees and visitors, manage office access tickets, support general office requests, and assist with in-office events and ad-hoc tasks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policies and procedures across the Bucharest office
  2. Identify, assess, and help mitigate workplace health and safety risks
  3. Maintain and update required OHS documentation in line with Romanian legislation and company standards
  4. Coordinate and facilitate regular OHS training and awareness sessions for employees
  5. Partner with external OHS providers and collaborate with relevant local authorities and inspectors as needed

Skills

Required

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work on-site, Monday to Friday, maintaining a full-time, in-office schedule
  • Confident, positive, and comfortable being in a highly visible role
  • Strong communicator with excellent grammatical skills
  • Sharp eye for detail and good organisational skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to set own priorities
  • Creative problem-solver
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
  • Familiar with Mac computer and GSuite
