Operations Lead for Lyft's Flexdrive subsidiary, responsible for managing a team and a fleet of vehicles, driving operational excellence, and ensuring key performance metrics are met. This role involves leading a team of Operations Associates, overseeing the vehicle lifecycle, managing costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Accountable for your market’s business health and strives to deliver on Flexdrive OKRs by frequently analyzing market level data for performance gaps, managing fleet operational costs and process improvement opportunities
  2. Lead the team responsible for assisting Lyft drivers through the end-to-end rental process of the Express Drive Program; ensuring all team members are up-to-date on all trainings and processes
  3. Foster team member growth and development by conducting regular 1:1 meetings and professional development discussions, while coaching through timely and constructive feedback
  4. Drive high utilization metrics by managing the vehicle supply lifecycle across your market, from in-fleeting to maintenance to decommissioning and disposition, and continually reduce out-of-service vehicle time by swiftly resolving escalated vehicle issues when they arise
  5. Responsible for talent retention and serve as the hiring manager for your local site and accountable for the onboarding process for new team members
